Our Story
Colin and Sandy started Waterjet Cutting Geelong back in 2013 with a small team of 3; they now run a largely successful business with a committed team of 10. They have Substantially expanded their capabilities while also maintaining their well known reputation. Every single member of the WCG team is grateful to be a part of such a constructive and functional workplace.
When asked about the business this is what they each had to say.
Colin Martin: “Looking back at when we first started I can confidently say I have enjoyed the change. It's always challenging and creating new ideas is invigorating. It's also really nice to bring
customers' designs to life. Running this business with my Wife definitely keeps me on my toes; however without her and her wonderful skill set, I'd have to do twice as much work."

Meet The Team
There are two of us behind the scenes here myself and my incredible right-hand woman. Together, we handle all the drawings, customer chats, and the million little details that bring each custom project to life. From the first message to the final design, we’re the ones turning ideas into reality. It’s not always easy, but we love what we do – and we’re pretty proud of the magic we make happen every day. Here's to the women in the office getting it done, one custom creation at a time!
In our factory, it's not just me on the tools cutting, folding, rolling, welding. It's a full team effort. I’ve got the privilege of working side by side with two seriously talented fabricators who don’t just show up, they show how it's done. These men aren't just great at what they do, they’re absolute weapons in the workshop. They roll, fold, cut, weld, and problem-solve like pros. No job’s too tough and no detail’s too small. From custom screens to firepits, gates to garden features, their workmanship speaks for itself. We bounce ideas off each other, we get our hands dirty, and we push the limits of what we can create in steel. It’s more than just fabricating, it’s about pride in every job that leaves the floor. Couldn’t ask for a better team to build it all with.
